Managerial perspectives on strategies for advancing environmental considerations in the mining industry

Pressure on the mining industry to address environmental and social challenges is growing at same time as society's stakeholders’ expectations have increased. In order understand why how addressing they are facing; this research focused studying drivers advance considerations overall strategic approach in Finland currently taking. This study based a questionnaire administrated senior mine managers capture their view of matter. Based findings, legislation societal most significant external drivers, while management's own contribution very important advancing considerations.
